Hey guys, this is just going to be a quick post as promised about the Real Foods. Real Farms. Real Experiences. Dinner that I went to, put on by the Bruce County Federation of Agriculture. This was put on just outside of Kincardine in a field! I have never been to anything like this but I can honestly say, it was gorgeous. The food was delicious, home grown, and very healthy! I got to meet several politicians, some very respected people in the agriculture business, and many more people from the Bruce County area. I got a chance to go up on stage and talk about some of the things I have been doing with my title, my story with Miss Teenage Canada, and the fundraising efforts that I have done for Free the Children, Sick Kids, and Wes for Youth. The most important thing, I got a chance to thank the Bruce County Federation of Agriculture for their very generous donation of $200 for me to buy hamburger for my very successful spaghetti dinner. I want to especially thank Heather Frook, the Vice President of Bruce County Federation of Agriculture, she was the one to invite me to their meeting to meet the rest of the Federation and invited me to the dinner this past weekend.
More to come in the next few days, as we received our first blog assignment yesterday! It will most likely be tomorrow, but no guarantees!
Lots of Love, XOXO
